Inland...
Sea-kayaks provide a great means of exploring Scotland’s wealth of stunning freshwater lochs. You can enjoy your first experience in a kayak in a sheltered environment amidst awesome scenery. All of our trips have a journeying element - you paddle from A to B rather than around in circles, and after having mastered the basics you quickly learn on the move! More experienced paddlers can enjoy their first experience of sea kayaks, and get in amongst the wind and waves of Loch Ness. Whitewater coaching also available.
Example Venues...
½ day trips: Loch Oich, Loch Ness, Caledonian Canal - some great scenery, and the very best way of experiencing the Great Glen. Great for novices,  mixed groups & families.
Full day trips: Paddle a longer section of the Great Glen. A wee bit further afield but well worth the trip is  Loch Beinn a’Mheadhoin in Glen Affric, with abundant birdlife and lined with ancient caledonian pine forest.
Multi-day trips: The classic Caledonian Canal Trip, camping along the banks of the Great Glen.

At the end of the day, very few experiences can match camping on a wild beach, or on an uninhabited island, and sharing a dram next to the driftwood fire as the sun sets.

Coast...

Scotland and it’s isles have an amazing 11,800 km of coastline,  Caves, arches, cliffs and coral beaches can be seen in a day. Seals, otters and many species of birds are often encountered, and occasionally basking sharks and minke whales. All of this in a landscape which is as close to wilderness as you can get in the UK, untouched over thousands of years. The sea kayak is the
